We met last Wednesday. Here’s one of Karen’s rosettes.
And another that she started in class. She had several others and I didn’t get a picture of them. Trust me when I tell you she has a great look!

These belong to her. We use foam core board to hold our rosettes until they are sewn together.
She used 1/2 square triangles for the center of this one.
Her fabrics are from all the quilts she has made. This is close to my heart.

Here’s Beverly S’s first rosette. Yes, that is a fussy cut star. It is so awesome.

Fowler came to the Saturday workshop and learned the technique. I’m taking credit for those stitches.
She got along quite nicely.

Beverly continues to amaze us.
I worked with her a couple of weeks ago to plan a section of her quilt.

So here’s Beverly’s first big rosette. She has decided it will be the center of her upper left quadrant. I could look at this all day. We met for a little while today at Trailer Stash Fabrics just to “take inventory.”
These are the other rosettes she has finished. Her job is to arrange several of them around that first big rosette.
So she did. Crazy fun.
Now she has to choose “star points” to blend all the cogs together. She picked a few fabrics today; she is well on her way.
