I had my first Open Sew at Village Fabric Shop in December. It’s a night class. We are meeting on the second Thursday of the month from 5:00 until 9:30. It’s a great group of women; come join us!Jennifer is embroidering the names of her daughters into the christening gown they will share. She wrote the names with a Frixion pen and used a fabulous Alabama Chanin embroidery floss for the embroidery. I am in love with that floss!
Jennifer also finished a runner using Alison Glass fabrics.
Love this “make do.” She ran out of binding fabric and substituted a little Tula Pink. Perfect!
This is Steph’s original design. Machine appliqued, machine quilted. First attempt. AWESOME.
Also from Steph. Original design. It’s just wonderful. She has an Etsy shop. Check it out!
Mindy’s finished clutch from a class at Sewingly Yours. Well done Mindy!
Mindy’s Christmas presents. These are drawstring bags from a May Chappell tutorial. Mindy had them monogrammed.
Good looking!
Back to Steph. She made these knit pajamas for her little girls. Cloud Nine knit. Unbelievably soft. We were impressed!
I have other pics but can’t show them because they were Christmas presents, yet to be finished and delivered.
Gina Allen and I also have a Sew Day at Trailer Stash Fabrics. That class meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 10 until 4. Here’s one of Beverly’s blocks.Linda S’s churn dash from a Kim Diehl pattern.
These churn dashes finish 3.”

Carole’s log cabins. I LOVE these.
Gaye’s finished BEGINNER quilt. She had a good teacher. HAHAHA
Bev’s second Thistle Thicket. Terrible picture. Beautiful quilt.
Here’s my Lilipopo Tooth Fairy pillow sample. 6″.
The back. That heart is open at the top for the Tooth Fairy. 🙂
