Potholder month! We had a potholder tutorial for our January Fat Stacks meeting.
Here it is in all its glory. Amy Butler and Ella Blue orange stripe binding made a great combination.
Noodle-head wide zipper pouches. Tutorial here. I have mentioned this tutorial so many times. Tanna showed a pouch a LONG time ago and we have made lots of them. Anna Graham has a new book called Handmade Style. It is wonderful.
Here’s a quilt from JayBird Quilts’ book, Skip the Borders. Corals and teals. My favs.
I brought my Tula Pink Beads quilt. Gina Allen is quilting it right now. Can’t wait! This will be a class at Village Fabric Shop or you can buy the pattern from American Patchwork and Quilting right here. 🙂
Here’s Carole’s little Glimmer Quilt from Jaybird Quilts.
Here’s the back. Carole said she made the back from all the fabric strips she auditioned for the front. Ha! It’s beautiful Carole.
Karen Fridy walked in with Diana’s Glimmer. I want to make one of these. Sigh.
Here’s Diana’s Wonky Stars. Sunlight was streaming in; sorry for the glare. It was a beautiful morning!
Joan had her Serendipity Sampler finished and bound. Wow! She had Gina quilt an all over pattern. It looks great!
Joan’s precious little door stop. We loved it.
The back of Joan’s tree skirt.
The front. This was really pretty.
Finally, Joan’s beautiful embroidered pillow she found in San Antonio. Thanks for sharing Joan!
Next Fat Stacks, February 3. Come join us!
Hi there,
What is the skill level for the log cabin bead Quilt? Will the class overlap the appliqué one I am listed for?
Regards,
Eileen

Hi Eileen! It is not a beginner class but it is an excellent class to build cutting and sewing skills. Would love to have you! No, it won’t overlap Serendipity.
