We like it when Alison comes 🙂
Here’s my newest creation. I made this for Margaret and Ben. Gina is quilting it for me now…

Carol’s new pig pattern. We are anxious to see the progress on this one!
We kinda had a pig thing going. This card belongs to Tillie.
Guess who this belongs to? 🙂
Tillie was trying to decide backgrounds.
She chose gray. The end result is beautiful. I will show it to you when Gina finishes quilting it.
Laura made her very own bed protector for her featherweight. Great job!

and wonderful little puffies for her little girl. So sweet!
Becky’s left side.
Beverly has her major work done. Extra rosettes are on the left.
Joyce has finished her rosettes and it’s time to come up with a plan. We are going to have a little sit down next week. 🙂
Ann decided to repurpose her rosette…
It’s a pretty wonderful little needlecase. We loved it Ann!
Karen Thompson is well on her way with her La Pass! We met about a month ago and pinned up her rosettes. It’s pretty wonderful.
Here’s mine. The bottom left quadrant is together and I’m working on the bottom right. I hope to have it finished in the spring of 2017.
Margaret’s. Love the center.
She couldn’t decide which arrangement she liked better.
Jennifer had the same decision to make. #1
#2?
She ended up with this. We loved it.
Jennifer went home and machine zig-zagged her pieces together. It’s a game changer Jennifer!!
This is pretty amazing.
Ann has been busy!
Tula plays so nicely with Amy Butler.
One of my favorites.
This beautiful little beginning belongs to Barbara.
She ended up with this. Barbara was my last “Trailer Stash La Pass” student. ): I have lots of happy memories from those La Pass classes. Thank you Gina.
My newest obsession. Gina and I are going to teach this technique as an all day workshop at
Here’s a close-up of some of the stitching.
Another side of the bag.
You will need a couple of orphan blocks for this great little bag. Mark some quilting lines. Layer up the block with a leftover piece of batting and pin baste it.

Close up of the finished bag. I used a
I also used an iron-on laminate for the inside lining. Perfect cosmetic bag!
And there you go.
Plain stitching is sometimes just the best.
I “experiment” on groups before I teach the actual class. Here’s Jennifer’s finished bag. She used double gauze and a great pink thread for her quilting.
Here’s a close-up of “Wild Grasses.” It was challenging but I really enjoyed it.
A wider shot.
I developed a “stitch book” to teach the stitches necessary to do the piece. Practice in the stitch book and then work the big piece.
Here are some sweet granitos.
The blanket stitch page.
Granitos!
I have taught the class several times. It’s working out nicely. Students go home with lots of threads dangling. Ha!
We start out with chain, back and stem stitches and just keep moving forward!
We have even learned to make the elusive bullion knots!
Here’s a cast-on stitch.
More extremely good looking bullions!
The resurgence of embroidery is exciting. This beautiful Alison Glass piece belongs to Diana.
Here’s another piece from Diana.
Nice!

Laura’s beautiful bricks quilt. This is from
Laura also made this show stopper. Don’t you love it?? The Plus Quilt!
Mindy’s nursery quilt of equilateral triangles. This is also a Jaybird Quilts pattern. Congratulations Mindy!
Jennifer’s table runner. Jennifer dominates improv. She takes random leftover blocks and makes beautiful patterns.
Here are a couple of the bags she made last month. Those are her hexie blocks also.
Steph’s newest finished quilt. Beautifully quilted.
Carrie’s “Autumn in Linville” quilt. We love it Carrie!
This one belongs to Joyce, the queen of fussy cutting. She used a variety of Tula Pink’s fabrics. She replaced the piano key border with two inner borders and a one-fabric outer border. Beautiful.

This pastel beauty belongs to Beverly. She used a variety of Heather Bailey fabrics. Her teal berries and that dark pink fabric give this quilt continuity. BTW, Ginabean Quilts custom quilted all of these. Love.

This is Beverly’s SECOND Serendipity Sampler. She used lots of Amy Butler and pulled from her collection of beautiful brights. It is a show stopper.

Here’s the one that started it all. 🙂 This belongs to me; I made it a long time ago. My friend Sue, “reinterpreted it” in modern fabrics and we were off! Thank you Sue!
