We started July’s Fat Stacks with Chicago!  This is Jennifer’s cross stitched piece.  LOVE.

Here’s a picnic blanket she made from “Lemon Pepper Quilts.”  It’s about 54″ square.  Perfect size.

She made this sweet quilt with the “leftovers.”  LOVE the border color choices and the binding.

She sent me this picture last night from her latest Cotton + Steel quilt.  Great job!

Joan shared her Jen Kingwell block.  This is hand pieced; so well done.  Joan is officially addicted to hand piecing now.

Ann cut up her husband’s silk ties to make a tuffet!  Do you not love this idea??  She has eight more sections to go.  We have no doubt she will finish it.  Stay tuned!

So you thought that Glimmer quilt looked familiar??  Well Diana made this miniature first. and brought it to Fat Stacks some months back.  Amy took this picture for scale.  Crazy good.

Here’s my finished top.  It’s at Ginabean Quilts right now, waiting to get all gussied up.   In other class news, Katie finished her Astrodelic quilt.  This measures 42″ square.  I love her hot pink background.I was able to teach the Alison Glass embroidery sampler a couple of weeks ago.  Village Fabric Shop has the samplers and floss.  (It’s a great way to keep cool this summer.) Here’s Judy’s sampler.  She used floss from Alison Glass.  Beautiful colors. Joan used her #8 perle cotton.  It is pretty wonderful stuff.

Here’s Linda’s.  She left her threads on top as she learned her stitches.  I have seen pictures recently; she is almost finished…

And finally, I was able to teach the fishy quilt again.  Remember the name Mindy…she is a talented young woman.  So much fun!

 Our last Serendipity class met last week.  This is Pat’s finished center.  She knew what she wanted her color palette to be and she stuck to it!  So much thought and planning.

And last but certainly not least we have Rachel’s fourth block.  Rachel sold her house, moved, bought a house and moved (last Friday) since starting this class.  She also works full time and has two small children.

She has the pieces cut for her fourth block and she is an inspiration to us all!!  Keep sewing Rachel!
