Have you missed me? I’m baaaaack and here are some pictures from what’s been going on…
I finished this Giant Dresden for Trailer Stash Fabrics. Gina Allen quilted it for me. We call it the Beadboard Dresden. I’m teaching the technique on Monday, September 12 at Trailer Stash Fabrics. You can check out the schedule on my class page.
I love teaming up with Gina. I make ’em; she quilts ’em.
Here’s the label. Bonnie Hunter shared the tutorial on her website.
Sue finished her Serendipity Sampler top. It is glorious and the workmanship is A++.
Paula had her wool circles framed. It truly is a work of art.
I met a new student this summer. This is Tisha’s first quilt! She walked in to sign up for my Beads class. Stay tuned for beautiful stuff from her.
Beads class? Here’s Ann’s finished Beads quilt. My my. She mixed lots of Tula, Amy Butler, etc. This has been such a fun class to teach. It’s on the schedule for Monday, August 29. Two parts. I have some nifty little tricks to make the process zip along.
Carole’s modern quilt sampler. You saw it here first. It’s going to be fab.
Martha Claire’s is being sashed. In fact, she probably has it together by now. Right MC?? I love it. Lots of thought went into this one.Diana’s newest creation. I love this look.
Jennifer is peeping out from behind this picnic quilt.Laminate on the back.
Another one. Lazy Sunday pattern from May Chappell. Beautiful quilt.
Also a laminate back. Jennifer said she washed them and dried them and they survived quite nicely.
Carole’s ribbons. Love.
So this is what I made this summer. haha It’s a Fair Isle cap for Margaret. It’s a little warm to wear it right now but winter will eventually be here.
Kay’s newest applique creation from Kim Diehl’s patterns. I love it Kay!
Another Kay 🙂 made this fishy quilt in my beginner applique class. (August is full; I just put another class on the schedule for August 30 at 9:00. Come join me!) It’s the perfect baby quilt.
And finally my La Pass progress report. Here’s the upper right quadrant. La Pass classes meet on the third Wednesday or fourth Saturday of the month. More about that later.
Be sure to check out my class page. I’m going to be teaching some cool stuff at Village Fabric Shop and Trailer Stash Fabrics this fall. Enjoy August!
