Hooterville

hooterville finishedMy Hooterville top is finished!   The pattern is from Wendy Williams’ new book, Wild Blooms and Colorful Creatures.   It’s a great book, full of wonderful projects.  She lives and works in Australia and I’m liking just about everything the Australians are doing these days!  Karen Poetzinger dyed the wools for me and I’m going to teach it as a wool applique class at Knit One Smock Too beginning in April.  Hoping to hand quilt it this summer…

What a fun, happy quilt! Love the Australians’ style too. Will be buying the book for Hooterville too. Thanks for the recommendation.
