I worked on a dog sweater for Roscoe. He’s actually not too crazy about it.
A couple of my friends have started the Tula 100 Block Sampler so of course I had to dive in.
The top block belongs to Kay. The bottom block is mine. 99 to go. HAHAHA
I stitched the binding on Stella’s baby quilt. Mindy, her mom, embroidered it and Gina Allen quilted it. Stella is a very special baby with a very special mom and dad. You can watch a WXII video about her here.
I taught a beginner applique workshop in Hickory at the Catawba Valley Quilters Guild. What a fabulous group of women! Debbie and I had the best time!
I ordered this applique pattern. I really like it. 80″ square. We shall see…
I helped Theresa Reid mark up her La Passacaglia so she would be able to trim it. She is planning to machine quilt it herself. It is so beautiful.
I worked on my Bari J quilt. Lots to do but I really like the process.
I got a call from Steph Skardal on Thursday, February 22 to let me know she had won Best in Show at QuiltCon 2018 in Pasadena. Crazy!
Here’s the ribbon to prove it. Her Open Sew peeps were pretty proud of her and so am I.
My daughter-in-law needs a new throw so Steph created this little gem. I’m still looking for the green fabrics and then I’ll get busy!
