Happy Fall! We had a great Fat Stacks meeting last Wednesday. So many pretty things.
Here’s Joan’s block of the month from Sew Mama Sew. Wonderful piecing.
Martha Claire’s block. Love the dark center.
We got a little crazy with drawstring bags. These are Carole’s. Paula shared the tutorial a couple of months ago. It’s from S.O.T.A.K. handmade.
Here’s another one. Carole used the new Joel Dewberry collection. Her silk cords were such a nice touch.
Speaking of fabric collections, Village Fabric Shop looks fabulous. It’s transforming right in front of us. She has several new collections and more on the way. It’s a rainbow in there!
Carole was also very busy making fabric trays.
Here are those great bags from Noodlehead. This is a fabulous tutorial!
Diana is our resident framer. Here’s her newest creation. Pretty cute.
She also finished a pretty counted cross stitch piece. So sweet.
More Noodlehead bags. 🙂
Here’s Martha Claire’s quilt from the Nod to Mod collection. This is small and wonderful.
Martha Claire has finished her Churn Dash from my workshop. Yay Martha Claire!
Paula got a few pieces of embroidery back from Carolina Stitcher. This lady finishes “stuff.” I fat stackhave used her and just love what she does.
Here’s a Lilipopo piece. Now it’s a zippered bag!
One more Lilipopo. “My New Dress” That’s Liberty fabric. I love it!
Debbie Gordon brought her 20-year-old Halloween pumpkins to share. They look great!
I did a quick tutorial on fabric pumpkins. How cute are these??? Find the info at A Delightful Life.
So three days later, Paula sends me this picture.
How fun! Glammed up with bows!
Finally, we will be making quilts for the Meals on Wheels program to deliver at Christmas. It’s an all-day sew-in at Village Fabric Shop on Monday, October 26 from 10-4. No charge. Come and sew. Last year we delivered almost 30 new quilts. Amazing.
Let me know if you have questions. So fun!
